This programme exists because the best solutions to civic problems often come from citizens who live with those problems daily. Makkal Theervu aims to harness Tamil Nadu's enormous pool of civic talent.
How to Participate
- Register with your name, email, phone number, and district/constituency information.
- Browse problems — filter by category, district, or level (state/district/constituency).
- Submit a solution — include a clear title, detailed description, implementation steps, and estimated impact.
- Upvote other solutions — help the best ideas rise to the top for administrator review.
- Report your own problems — if you've encountered a civic issue, you can submit it along with your proposed solution.
Government Problem Posting
Government administrators — district collectors, municipal commissioners, and department officials — can post civic challenges directly on this platform.
Transparency and Accountability
